The short version
SingleText stores the note you create, its revision history, and synchronization information on your device. When iCloud is available, the app also stores your note and revisions in your private CloudKit database so they can synchronize across devices signed into the same iCloud account.
Tiny Little Apps does not receive your note, operate a SingleText account service, sell personal information, or use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
Information SingleText handles
Where information is stored
On your device
SingleText stores its document inside the app’s sandboxed container. The document includes the current note, revision history, synchronization state, and any unresolved conflict. Platform data-protection features apply where available.
In your private iCloud database
SingleText uses Apple CloudKit’s private database. Access is controlled by the iCloud account signed into your device and the app’s CloudKit entitlement. SingleText does not use the CloudKit public or shared databases and does not provide person-to-person sharing.
Apple may process iCloud service and diagnostic information under Apple’s own terms and your device settings. SingleText relies on Apple’s iCloud and platform security; it does not claim a separate custom end-to-end encryption system.
Retention and deletion
The app keeps the current note until you replace its contents. The newest 500 revisions are available in active history. Older revision records that were previously synchronized may remain in your private iCloud database after they leave active history.
Removing SingleText can remove its local app container, but does not necessarily remove records already stored in iCloud. SingleText does not currently include a dedicated “delete all local and cloud data” command.
Information we do not intentionally collect
SingleText does not intentionally collect your name, email address, contacts, location, advertising identifier, usage events, note contents, or crash diagnostics. It contains no ads, tracking technology, third-party analytics SDKs, or developer-operated content backend.
Changes to this policy
If SingleText’s data practices change, this policy will be updated before those changes are distributed. The date at the top identifies the latest revision.
